The Rioja wine denomination also extends to the territory of the Basque Country and Navarra. As we go around vineyards and wineries, we’ll also inspect some of the Basque Country’s archaeological gems, which will take us back 6,000 years in time.

Iparralde is the Basque name for the north of the Basque Country, located in France. Its bucolic expanses conceal epic tales of corsairs, the wedding of the Sun King and the place of origin of its famous, delicious macarons.
